Updating your smile

Porcelain veneers are durable and can last many years, but like natural teeth, they may change with time. Old veneers may appear thick, and the incorrect size may lead to gum infections or visible edge discolourations. In both cases, they look unnatural and affect the appearance of the teeth.

We want our patients to be happy with their smiles. Dr Mazgaj restored the patient’s small and discoloured restorations with new porcelain veneers in this most recent case. The old veneers were safely and precisely removed under an operating microscope. The affected teeth were slightly reduced at the gum level to accommodate new restorations, perfectly matching the gum line and covering the teeth’s whole surface. Veneers produced in that way will be invisible for many years to come.

Porcelain veneers are a great option to cover discoloured teeth, to change the shape or the size.

If you are not satisfied with the appearance of your teeth, we will be happy to advise you on the best way to improve your smile.Old veneers often appear thick and their incorrect size with age, may lead to gum problems if they are too big or unsightly discolourations if too small. In such cases old veneers need to be replaced in order to regain the perfect smile.

Contemporary, high quality veneers are much thinner and look more natural.
